CBT Making Changes
What We Do
CBT Making Changes was established by Karl Woolley in 2011, it is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) service which provides high quality, confidential, effective and evidence-based CBT treatment to individuals and/or groups.

Gathering from further training and experiences, the service utilises various models of therapy, such as CBT, EMDR and DBT. Karl is trained and experienced to deliver therapy to a variety of client groups, ranging from children, younger people and adults.

CBT Making Changes overriding goal of therapy is to empower individuals to meet their desired goals in a method that they are comfortable with and a way in which they can move their lives on in the most meaningful way.

A common question asked is ‘how many sessions will I need’, the answer to this is individualised however, from experience, the course of treatment provided is 6-20 sessions, with an average of 12.

Competency based clinical supervision is also provided to fellow trained, trainee CBT therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.

How Can We Help You?

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy that encourages you to briefly focus on traumatic memories while experiencing bilateral stimulation, this is usually involves eye movements.
