During all treatment sessions, CBT Making Changes ensures that all Codes of Conduct provided by the BABCP and NMC are abided by at all times, this is to ensure that high standards of professional practice, confidentiality and effective treatments are received. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) treatment sessions can be arranged through self-referrals, as well as referrals from Private and NHS organisations.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a 'talking therapy', whereby a therapist helps the individual to identify and challenge how their thoughts and behaviours can influence the way they feel during times of distress.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy that encourages you to briefly focus on traumatic memories while experiencing bilateral stimulation, this is usually involves eye movements.
Clinical supervision is an integral part of a clinician’s development. The BABCP suggest, a full time CBT therapist, has a minimum of 90 minutes supervision per month.
